Students will learn a background in medical terminology and the data entry skills needed to help facilitate communication in a healthcare unit. Students will be prepared to take the National Association of Health Unit Coordinator test at the end of this course. Test fee is included in tuition. No previous medical training or experience needed. Classwork is structured to assist students in the preparation for the certification exam given by the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators.
